Jillibean Soup | DIY snow...

Hello Friends.  Today I am sharing one of my layouts for Jillibean Soup.  This time last year my boys wanted to have snow.  They wanted it desperately.  But sadly for them, we live in the sub-tropics.  There is no way it will snow here (and if it does, then there is something freakishly wrong with the weather!).   Especially in Summer. *grin*

So, what is a crafty mum to do?  She gets the scissors out and suggests they make their own snow! ta da!!  *grin*

"DIY Snow"

products used: cs - bazzill; pp - Jillibean Soup; alpha - Jillibean Soup; other - Jillibean Soup: white lattice placemats, pea pod parts, soup labels; vellum, sequins, embroidery thread; tools - typewriter, foam tape, black pen.

The new Jillibean Soup placemats are also super fun to use as a whole or like what I've done, cut up into random pieces to look like snowflakes.

AND the peapod parts are also gorgeous!  These snowflake designs just had to be a part of my layout.  After all, where else will they be put to use when we have Christmas in Summer!  LOL!

The boys had such a fun time creating their designs that they are looking forward to cutting out some more these school holidays.  Not a bad way to spend your afternoon really... :)  Thanks for visiting..x
