Baby Belly...

Ok... I never do this...ever. I'm not a fan of being in front of the camera. I'm definitely the behind-the-camera person. But there have been some requests to show off the belly. And so, in the spirit of fair play, and getting someone to wrench the camera out of my hands.... Here goes...
This was a hard thing for me to do and why I am so impressed with Nic who pretty much did this photo shoot daily, to post on her blog, while pregnant.

I am now 33 weeks along. And my resistance to having these photos taken in the first place may even be starting to fade... Thanks for playing along! :)

Create...

We've been quite sick around here... Ethan, Liam and myself have all been under the weather. However, I didn't want my mojo to say good-bye just when I was getting into the swing of things so... I've managed a few more layouts to share...

The first one was for a challenge at The Boxx...

Kathleen was the guest design team member for the month and provided a sketch challenge. "Beach Boy" is what I came up with... Some blue on blue tones...

The second layout is one of Ethan asleep on the couch...

Journaling says "I'd like to say u nap where u fall but it wouldn't be true. It's rare for you to crash on the couch". He must have been totally exhausted this day.

The last layout is for the Journal It challenge...

We were to record a catchphrase or favourite saying. For Tahlia, this phrase would cover both. She is always humouring her father (or at least tolerating his poor sense of humour - sorry honey!) The *eye roll* however, is a most desired accompanied to this saying!

So that's it for now. Thanks for visiting.

Pumpkin Pink!...

Check out these gorgeous chippies from Pumpkin Pink! They are too adorable to pass by...it's too hard to choose a favourite ...

...but this one comes close! LOL!

Ice-creams and Rainbows...

Not a lot happening here at the moment... Although, after the recent torrential rains and flooding we are enjoying the simple things.

Nothing better than ice-creams and rainbows....

Mojo still with me!...(create)...

After not really feeling motivated to scrap for such a long time, it seems that the drought may be over! Although I am really enjoying and making the most of this creative urge, I know I'm not to take it for granted! LOL! But for now.... I'll take what I can get! hehehe...

I have two more layouts to share...

The first one showing how much Ethan adores and follows his older sister and brother. He would follow them anywhere if he got the chance...except maybe to school! Because he knows that's when he gets all of Mummy's attention!

The second is a layout challenge I've completed over at The Boxx.

Sorry!

This layout has been accepted for publication!!!

We had to use the word "colour" on the layout and include at least four different colours on the page as well. This is the first challenge I have completed in a while, so I am pleased that I've managed to produce something!!

And some detail...

Thanks for stopping by.

On fire!...(create)...

I tell you, I have found a routine that finally works for me! Yay! I've been scrapping pretty much non-stop lately and I am loving it! The mojo will no doubt ebb once the baby comes along, but for now I'll take what I can get!

The first layout is one of Tahlia and my reflections of her turning NINE! There is hidden journalling and I am liking the shabby chic look this layout has taken on.

Here is some detail...

The second layout is of Liam...

While I am on an age theme, I wanted to record what is happening at this time in their lives. Things especially like their personalities at the moment...

And of course the third layout is definitely about favourites at this age. With Ethan I recorded more specifics, such as favourite food, tv show, place, games and animal. All these things change so rapidly at the age of three.

And some more detail...

Thanks for stopping by.

Create...

Today is wet, rainy and hectic! We have a teachers strike happening today in Queensland and so I've had to drag all three kids to my OB appointment, much to the doctor's amusement!

In the same breath, with kids being clingy.....and bored....and somewhat tired, I've managed to sneak in another layout.

Sorry about the photo. Not really the weather for a decent shot! Lol! With a place for hidden journaling, I'm on track to getting some layouts completed before #4 comes along! Wish me luck (and some patience!)...

Slowly getting back into the flow of things... I know they're late but here are two Easter layouts from earlier this year...

At least it is this year and not last! LOL!

I must have a thing for spotty paper lately. Sub-consciously perhaps... hehehe... Thanks for visiting.

And with six weeks to go I can hear my Mum saying, "Finally!" Lol! And once I finish, I promise to post more photos...

Just a really quick share....

I love these photos of Liam. He hasn't lost his enthusiasm for all thing creepy, crawly. I just hope that this fascination doesn't lead to him bring snakes and other deadly creatures home. Let's stick to butterflies for the time being! Lol!!

Playing Catch-up...

First and most importantly.... this beautiful girl turned 9! Sheesh!!! When did that happen? One minute she was being placed in my arms, and then the next .... Well, she is just growing up way too fast!

We went away for the long weekend. We went with friends and neighbours camping in another beautiful area within a little over an hour drive from where we live. We are so lucky to have a fantastic and amazing range areas to explore and enjoy.

Of course, it was also a request from Tahlia that we go camping for her birthday. I am so glad that the kids are also enjoying the opportunity to be outdoors even if it is getting a little bit cold in the mornings! And we regularly share the campsite with the kangaroos throughout the day.

We packed up and left on the Friday, set up house just before the rain and darkness settled in for the night and then sat down to take a breath! Saturday kept us busy (and entertained!) as we drove along the Sunshine Coast beaches. Something very new for us and the kids just thought it was fantastic!

We came across areas we never knew were there, such as the beautiful Red Canyon.

The canyon is created from beach erosion and showcases the most beautiful range of yellow, red and orange sand.

We continued up the beach and then travelled through the National Park on a very rough bush track which I could possibly only label as an unruly induction of labour, for those who are over their pregnancy. Luckily, with only nine weeks to go, I didn't fall into that category, but I don't think I will be going down that road again anytime soon! (Sorry no photos! I was fully occupied concentrating on the Braxton Hicks that baby kept throwing my way!! LOL!) But once we were out of the woods! hehehe... The kids had a wonderful time swimming and splashing in the ocean.

After making our way up to Rainbow Beach and then taking a serious "detour" home, we were exhausted from our all-day excursion. But it didn't stop the kids from riding their bikes and climbing trees!

On Sunday, we celebrated Tahlia's birthday. She woke up to the kookaburras serenading and with the eagerness of someone who is about to receive presents!!

Thanks Aunty Lorraine and Uncle Rick for the lovely watch!

At lunchtime, we enjoyed a yummy spit roast at a local historic venue and afterwards were joined by more friends for our final night at the campsite. All up there were 8 adults and 12 children! Ten of which were boys! How about those odds! And even more amusing is the fact that both of the girls are named Tahlia!!!

We had a great time and now look forward to our next adventure which will probably be after the baby is born! But then again, we still have nine weeks to wait....
